1. What We Collect

When you sign up for the ParkMate waitlist, we collect:

• Your email address — the only piece of personal information we ask for.
• Sign-up timestamp — the date and time you submitted the form, recorded automatically.

We do not collect your name, phone number, location, payment information, or any other personal data at this stage.

2. How We Use It

We use your email address for three purposes only:

1. To send you a welcome email confirming your spot on the waitlist.
2. To notify you when ParkMate launches — this is the one email you'll get from us before launch.
3. To share occasional updates about our progress if we decide to send a pre-launch newsletter (infrequent, opt-out any time).

We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their marketing purposes.

3. How We Store It

Waitlist email addresses are stored in Supabase, a cloud database platform hosted in the United States. Supabase provides:

• Row-Level Security (RLS) — only our server-side code can read or write waitlist data.
• Data encryption at rest and in transit (TLS).
• SOC 2 Type II compliance.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service to deliver emails:

• Resend — used to send your welcome email and any future launch notifications. Resend receives your email address solely for the purpose of email delivery. See resend.com/privacy.

No other third parties receive your personal data.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Unsubscribe from all emails at any time — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
• Request deletion of your data — email us and we'll remove your address from our database within 5 business days.
• Request a copy of what we hold about you — we'll send you the data we have (just your email and timestamp).
